Plenty of UK online florists advertise delivery to Jersey. Ordering from a Jersey florist puts your order straight into the hands of the person who makes it up, and several of the florists above deliver island-wide. Check each one’s delivery area and same-day cut-off time on its website.
The Central Market (opens in a new tab) in St Helier, on Halkett Place and Beresford Street, has florists among its stalls, including Bobby’s Florist and Market Flowers. The market opens from 7.30am Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sundays. Stalls keep their own hours, so check before you make a special trip.
Mother’s Day in Jersey is the same day as Mothering Sunday in the UK, the fourth Sunday of Lent, which is Sunday 7 March 2027. Valentine’s Day is 14 February. Florists are busiest in the days before both, so order early.
Jersey Post lists flowers as restricted “perishables” in its guide to restricted goods (opens in a new tab), so check it before posting any, and every parcel to the UK needs a customs declaration. For most people the easier route is a florist that delivers in the UK.
Plants coming into the island need a plant passport, and the Government of Jersey discourages private imports (opens in a new tab) because pests and diseases spread easily. Buying from an island florist or nursery avoids the question.
Check the funeral notice first: some families ask for family flowers only, with donations to a charity instead. If flowers are welcome, ask the funeral director where and when they should arrive, then tell your florist.
