Last updated: 19 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jersey Web website at jerseyweb.je (the "Site") and set out the general basis on which we provide our services. By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

Jersey Web is a web design and development business based in the United Kingdom.

1. About us and contact

2. Using our website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system;
  • introduce malicious code, or misuse the Site by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material;
  • copy, reproduce, or republish Site content except as permitted below.

We may suspend or withdraw the Site (or restrict access) without notice. We don't guarantee the Site will always be available or error-free.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, the Jersey Web name and brand, and design) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal business use, but you may not otherwise use our content without our written permission.

(Ownership of work we create for paying clients is dealt with in the relevant client agreement, not here.)

4. Our services

Information on the Site about our services is for general information and does not form a binding offer. Any work we undertake for you will be subject to a separate agreement, quotation, or statement of work that sets out the scope, price, and timescales.

5. Links to other sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over and are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. A link does not imply endorsement.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for any business losses (such as loss of profits, business, or data) arising from your use of the Site.

7. Your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable consumer protection law.

8. Privacy and cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The version on this page is the one that applies to your use of the Site. Please check periodically.

10. Governing law

These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may have the right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
