Common questions
Can I password-protect certain projects?
Yes. Some work is client-confidential and we can add password protection for those sections so only the right people see them.
Can I add new projects over time?
Yes. Send us new work whenever you have it and we will add it. A portfolio that stays current is far more effective than one that goes stale.
Can the site also sell my services?
Yes. A services or rates page works alongside the portfolio so interested clients know exactly what to ask for and at what kind of investment.
I do not have a logo yet. Is that a problem?
Not at all. We can keep the design clean and typographic to start. A brand refresh is available as an optional add-on if you want to build one later.
Can I show aerial or drone photos?
Yes. If you fly the drone yourself in Jersey, check the Director of Civil Aviation’s drone guidance first, and get Air Traffic Control’s permission before flying in the airport’s restricted zone.

Jersey rules for photographers and creatives
If you shoot from a drone, Jersey sets its own rules. Drones are regulated by the Director of Civil Aviation (opens in a new tab) for Jersey and Guernsey, whose drone guidance (opens in a new tab) is the place to start, and flying in the airport’s restricted zone needs permission from Air Traffic Control (opens in a new tab). Check before you sell aerial work.
Photographs of people you can identify are personal data, so a Jersey photographer registers with the JOIC (opens in a new tab) (£70 a year for fewer than ten staff) and should say in a privacy notice how client and portrait images are used and stored.
