Elizabeth Castle

About this photograph

This photograph of Elizabeth Castle was taken by Dan Marsh in July 2008. The island setting makes it useful for a general Jersey introduction or a heritage-themed page. It is supplied as a historical photograph rather than a current record of visitor facilities, events or transport to the castle.

Ideas for using this image

A local-area section for a St Helier business, a Jersey heritage article or a location-themed presentation. Use your own product or premises photographs beside it when the page is selling a specific service.

Choosing a crop

Keep the castle and enough of the surrounding coast visible. Check the horizon and the subject position before using the photograph behind text.

For a business website, give the photograph a short, accurate description in its alt text and keep the file size sensible. Our website preparation guide explains what other pictures and details to gather.
