St Aubin town & harbour

About this photograph

Marilyn Peddle photographed St Aubin town and harbour in October 2006. The waterfront buildings and boats make this a useful picture for a local introduction. As with other archive images in this collection, individual businesses, signage and harbour arrangements may have changed since the photograph was taken.

Ideas for using this image

A page about serving St Aubin, a local guide or a website section that introduces the surrounding area. For accommodation or restaurant listings, add current pictures of the property itself.

Choosing a crop

Keep enough of both the waterfront and harbour to explain the location. Use a separate solid-colour panel for text if the detail behind it reduces readability.

For a business website, give the photograph a short, accurate description in its alt text and keep the file size sensible. Our website preparation guide explains what other pictures and details to gather.
