How our website pricing works
Two prices, explained plainly: a build price that starts from £100 and depends on the job, and hosting from £20 a month. What each one covers and what you own.
A website has two costs: building it, and keeping it running. We price them separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for. The build starts from £100 and depends on the job. Hosting is from £20 a month.
What the build price depends on
A simple first website for a new business costs less than a larger site with many pages. We work out the smallest site that does the job, confirm what is included and tell you the price before you commit.
- How many pages the site needs.
- Whether you need features such as an online shop or bookings.
- How much writing and photography is involved.
What you get in the build
- A bespoke homepage and your key business pages.
- A mobile-friendly, speed-conscious build with a contact form and SSL.
- Launch support to get you live.
What hosting costs
Every website needs hosting, whoever builds it. Ours is from £20 a month. It covers the server your site runs on, the security and SSL certificate, backups, ongoing maintenance and a real person to contact when you want a change.
Added together, a one-page site costs from £340 to £540 in its first year and from £820 to £1,020 over three years. Our cost table sets this out for one-page and multi-page websites, and our price list has every price on one page.
What is priced separately
- Optional extras such as SEO or copywriting, which are clearly separate and only if you want them.
- Your domain name, which is separate and stays registered in your name.
What you own
- You own your content and your domain.
- There is no long contract.
How to get a price
Apply with a few details about your business and what you need. We review applications and confirm a build after a short chat. Our page on websites from £100 explains what changes the price. If this is your first website, our cheap first business website is the simplest place to start, and you can see finished results in our case studies.
