By Josh, Web Designer, Developer & SEO Updated 21 October 2026 6 min read How we check our facts

If you are looking for someone to build a website in Jersey, the options range from large creative agencies in St Helier to small studios and freelancers. This page lists the studios we could verify, so you can see who does what before you start asking for quotes.

Jersey Web is one of the studios listed. Everyone is listed alphabetically, nobody paid to be included, and each entry only says what that studio’s own website said when we checked it on 21 October 2026. If you run a Jersey studio and want to be added or corrected, email hello@jerseyweb.je.

How the studios differ

Most of the larger agencies offer websites as part of wider branding, marketing and campaign work, which suits a business that wants one team for everything. Smaller studios tend to focus on the website itself. Only two of the studios above publish their prices, so for most you will need to ask for a quote.

Questions to ask any web designer

  • Who owns the domain and the website? The domain should be registered in your name. Ask what happens if you move to another designer later.
  • What is the total cost over three years? Add the build, hosting and any maintenance together. Our cost calculator shows how.
  • Who looks after the site once it is live? Ask about updates, security, backups and how quickly small changes are made.
  • Can you show me sites you have built for businesses like mine? Look at them on a phone, not just the screenshots.
  • What will I need to provide? Text, photos, logins and decisions. Our checklist of what to prepare covers the usual list.
